Fitness & Swimsuit Model Carmen Garcia was born in Havana, Cuba. When Carmen
was only 8 months, she moved to Madrid, Spain with her mother. When she
turned the age of 3, she uprooted to Miami, Florida with her parents
after they lived in Madrid, Spain for three years. This probably explains why
one of Carmen's truest passions is to travel and speak 4 different languages.
She happens to be fluent in Spanish and speaks Italian, Portuguese and of
course English.
Carmen finished high school in Miami, Florida and moved to South Beach on her
own for 2 years before she moved to San Diego, California where she studied
Dance, Drama & Photography. As a freelance photographer, Carmen met Glamour
photogapher Lynn Bambrough and became his photo assistant for one year. One
day Carmen decided to switch over to the other side of the camera for a test
shoot and absolutely loved to pose in front of the lens! She is surely a
natural.
This exotic latin model adores to pose in front of the camera and has been
featured in several fitness publications such as MuscleMag International,
2001, swimwear catalogs and even covers! She has only been residing in Los
Angeles for a little over a year now and is consistently working as a print
model for magazines, music videos such as Sugar Ray's latest Hit,
infomercials, brochures, bikini videos, calendars and more. She also plans to
compete in fitness competitions around the nation and it's only a matter of
time and preparation before Carmen begins to compete.
Carmen aspires to become and entertainment reporter and would like to open up
her own personal gym with a nutrition/supplement store and a work out retail
section in the gym. She is certified through ISSA as a certified personal
trainer and is very disciplined about weight lifting 4-5 times a week. Her
hobbies include rollerblading, surfing, snowboarding, hiking, wake boarding,
jet skiing, weight lifting and dancing.
